An 18 Hole Opener
| The Garibaldi Springs Golf experience can be defined in many different ways. Philosophically, one could ponder the relationships between time, space and distance and their relevant impact on the golfer.
Here, time has been factored in as a commodity and provides only the experienced golfer with an 18 hole challenge that can be accomplished in under 3 and a half hours. The average golfer can expect a time investment of up to 4 hours. Renowned architect Les Furber has designed Garibaldi Springs for play to approximately 4700 yards from the back blue tees. There are also shorter white and red tee boxes. From the blue tees the 10 Par-4 holes range in length from 285 yards to 410 yards, while the 8 Par-3 holes range from 125 to 175 yards. Water comes into play on 14 holes with many ponds and two creeks that are home to spawning salmon in the fall. Tree lined fairways have been carved from a heavily forested 160-acre site. There are rocky ridges and many elevated tee boxes. The tranquil beauty of the course is contained within a naturally challenging setting surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and environmentally sensitive areas. |

Tip for the 1st Hole - Use a club that will get you to the 150 yard marker. The landing area gets narrow and you don't really see it from the tee so don't use too much club.

The 1st Eagle on the 10th Hole
The first Eagle at Garibaldi Springs Golf Resort was achieved by none other than 2005 Season's Pass holder, Thomas Goodwin. "I took a drive from the blues to the bottom of the hill. I pulled out my 8 iron and hit the ball. I could tell it was good. When I reached the top of the hill my ball wasn't on the green. I was talking to the Marshal when my golf buddy pulled my ball out of the hole." |
