We’re open for the 2007 Golf Season so let’s play some golf
After a long hard winter I think we’re all ready to get into golf season. Garibaldi Springs is open March 8, 2007. This will be a year with lots of big changes at Garibaldi Springs. The hotel is about 50% complete now, and the construction of the new proshop has started. Scheduled completion of the hotel and proshop is Oct 2007.
| The Grounds crew has been hard at work all winter in some of the worst weather we’ve seen in years. Regardless of how bad the weather was, the grounds crew was out there slogging away doing improvements to the course. Some of the improvements you’ll notice are the brush clearing that has been done around 10 and 11 greens, improved drainage, and changes to the cart path on 10 and 11. The greens are already aerated so we won't have any disruptions for punching after we open. The course is looking great, and all we need now is a bit of sunshine to green everything up. |
