Rules of the RCGA govern all play except where modified by local rules

• Local Rules
  
  
  1. White Stake on right of Hole #1 and left of Hole #12 are out of bounds. Please re-tee and take 1 stroke penalty
  2. Please note that it is the golfers responsibility for any damage to the houses on Hole #1 or Hole #12
  3. Red Staked Hazards are lateral hazards. Drop ball two club lengths from point of entry. Penalty is one stroke
  4. Yellow Stakes are water hazard in front. Drop ball behind point of entry as far back as you like along the line between point of entry and the pin
  5. Ground Under Repair: Move ball no closer to the hole. No penalty
  6. The maximum score on any hole should be double par. After that please pick up your ball and move to the next hole to help with pace of play
  7. Please fix all fairway divots and ball marks on the green and do your part to keep the course in good condition


• Carts
  
  
  • Carts are mandatory at Garibaldi Springs for 18 holes due to the hilly nature of the back 9. If you want to walk Garibaldi Springs we do allow walking in Twilight or Super Twilight
  • Please keep carts on the cart path unless authorized by the proshop staff. This is due to the young grass on our course and we are trying to let the fairways mature before they are driven on.
  • Players are liable for any damage to the carts.
  • Guests that are not playing but who wish to ride along will be charged a $15/person cart fee


• Liquor Policy
  
  
  • As we are licensed under the BC Provincial Liquor Regulations no outside alcohol is permitted on the course. We will be happy to serve you with our beverage cart or at our licensed restaurant


• Dress Code
  
  
  • At Garibaldi Springs we want you to feel comfortable so we have a fairly relaxed dress code. Please be neatly attired, and with appropriate golf footwear. We do not allow ripped or dirty pants, but clean jeans are allowed. Shirts should have collars and sleeves. No halter tops or muscle shirts. Beach wear is not allowed. Work boots and flip flops are not appropriate footwear on the golf course.


• Pace of Play
  
  
  • Garibaldi Springs is easily played in under 4 hours. Please keep up to the group in front of you. If you lose a hole to the group in front of you, please be courteous and allow the group behind you to play through


• Soft Spikes
  
  
  • Soft Spikes are mandatory at Garibaldi Springs.
